5 22 22 My dear Dr. Pammel:-- Thank you so much for your correction concerning the room, I am so glad to get this fact, it sounds exactly like you to take a stand like that. In fact it is really a part of your unusually broad generous nature to take a stand just like that. This was my experience with both yourself and family throughout not only my school life, but the same information, inspiration and encouragement has followed me ever since I left school. Much of my success is due to the constant touch and advice you have given me since I left the school. You have sent me books, papers, letters and a dozen and one things to help me. All of such is the work of a teacher with a soul. Thousands of boys and girls would make successful men and women in the world, rather than signal failures if they only had teachers who would write them often enough to assure them that they still maintained the same interest in them, and that you expected much of them. God has so readily endowed you with all the attributes of a good teacher, and I trust He will continue to bless you in this direction many years to come, is the wish of one of your pupils whom you have helped more than you will ever know in this world. Much love to the family, Geo. W. Carver P.S. Please make correction.
